About Yellowstone National Park
It is a reserved area situated in the western United States. It is located mostly in the state of Wyoming but some portion also falls under the jurisdiction of Montana and Idaho. It is spread in an area of over 8983-kilometer square. The park was established in March 1872. It received over three million visitors per year. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 1978. The park remains open all 24 hours for the public visit.

- The lake in the park named Yellowstone Lake is one of the largest high-elevation lakes all over North America. It is centered over the largest supervolcano of America named Yellowstone Caldera.

- The park is home to numerous birds, mammals, reptiles, fishes, and amphibians. Also, it is the largest megafauna location in the United States. Some of the endangered and threatened species are also found habitat in this park. Some unique species of plants are also found in the grasslands area.
