About Pasir Ris Park
Pasir Ris Park is a popular park situated in eastern Singapore. The park was opened to the public in 1986. It is a beach park spread in an area of 70 hectares. It was designed under the guidance of two Japanese landscape specialists. Furthermore, it features barbeque pits, cycling paths, various gardens which attracts various visitors towards the park. It is also a place for protection of mangrove.

It is easy to reach the park using any of the available means of transport.
Bus
You can easily arrive there by taking Bus route number 403 from Paris Ris Bus interchange.
Train
The train is also the most convenient means of transport so you can also opt for this. Some of the closest train stations are Lyouyang Station, Elias, Happy Train, and Smrt Train Ltd. You can opt for any of the local transport mediums after reaching these stations.
Some Lesser Known Facts About Pasir Ris Park
- The park is also ideal for camping, where you can enjoy a sleep under the stars and sound of the sea. The early morning view alongside the chirping of the birds near the sea is amazing. But take care, camping is allowed only in Area 1 and 3.

- There is also a three-storey building inside the mangrove area so that the visitors can watch birds residing in the area.

- The park also has big playgrounds with swings, maize, and other attractions for kids.

- Though it is a beautifully developed park but still known for its spooky facts, the bird-watching tower on the beach is also popular as “Suicide Tower.” Locals says the story of a boy who has some spiritual knowledge and saw something on the tower. He also told about the thing to his friends, so all of them took their cycles and went to the place. Other boys were resting on the grounds, and he went up to the highest floor and fell down. He told the other boys that he was just there, but something pushed him down. The boy died on his way to the hospital. Since that day, the tower is said to be haunted. Some people claim that they saw some potianaks on the top of the tower, while other say that they felt some unseen presence near the tower. Many people avoid going to the watch tower, even in the daytime.
