About Emirates Park Zoo
Emirates park zoo is a wonderful zoo located in Abu Dhabi. The zoo was opened in the year 2008. It provides an opportunity to study the wildlife and to educate the children. It is a combination of adventure, knowledge, and lots of fun. In addition to having a look of over 1400 pet and wild animals, you can also enjoy Zip line and get knowledge about several animals and spend time with animals like goats, ostriches, and camel. The park remains open between 9:00 am to 8:00 pm from Sunday to Wednesday, while from Thursday to Saturday the opening timings are 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. The ticket price for an adult is 35 AED and for the children from the age group 3–16 years, you have to pay 30 AED, it may vary according to the activities you want to participate in the park.

How To Reach Emirates Park Zoo
The park is located at an accessible location and various local means of transports are available which will take you to the park conveniently. It is just 30 minutes drive away from Abu Dhabi city centre.

Car
You can go there using your own vehicle. You have to drive along Al Bahia exit on Sheikh Zayed Road which will take you to the destination.
Bus
Going there by bus is also an economical and convenient option. If you are at Al Shaham bus station then bus number 225 is the most suitable which will leave you right in front of the gate of the park. However, you can also take bus number 202, 210, 218, and 420 which will leave you at Street 17 of Ramez Hyper Market, Al Bahya. After a small walk, you will reach the park.

  • In addition to providing a home to various rare species, the zoo also runs an amphitheater with a sitting capacity of 400 persons through animal shows.
  • The park remains open each day of the week from nine in the morning to eight in the night. The last entry timing is one hour before the closure.
  • The zoo is home to an Indian elephant couple Madu and Rada and you can see them munching on foliage. The visitors can also feed the friendly giraffes who are about five meters tall and weighs over 1200 kilograms.
