About Centennial Conservatory

Centennial Conservatory is a park situated in the city of Thunder Bay in Ontario, Canada. It was founded in the year 1965. It was open to the public in November 1967. There are no admission charges to access the park. It remains open throughout the week between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The park features benches, walking paths, and a wishing well alongside plants and trees.

Some Lesser Known Facts About Centennial Conservatory

The Canadian Daughters Assembly 34 made a contribution of a big banana plant to the conservatory in 1968.
You can see a cactus room, greenhouse, and a room having seasonal plants in the park. It is filled with numerous flowering plants, tropical plants, shrubs, and trees. The visit to the conservatory is like a treat to sense organs as they are surely tired of seeing snow and snow everywhere and when you enter this place you see greenery, the sound of trickling water, and much more to give pleasure to your eyes.
Even birds are nestled in the conservatory. Here they find their natural habitat and do not wants to go anywhere else.
It will be exciting to see trees and plants belonging to the different regions in one place and not only they are growing, but they are also giving fruits.
It also serves as a wedding venue. About 50 weddings are organized in the conservatory every year. The venue is warm and beautiful compared to other places in the city. It would be a great experience to tie this precious knot of life at this place.
