- Formerly known as "Knott's Soak City" in Chula Vista, the theme park re-opened as Aquatica San Diego in 2013.
- Visitors can buy a 7-day pass that allows unlimited entry to both SeaWorld San Diego and Aquatica San Diego. There are many slides at Aquatica which makes it family-friendly, suitable for both, children and adults.
- If one gets tired and wants to relax, one may find that the park is filled with super lush trees and landscaping along with tons of umbrellas so it's not hard to find a cool place in the shade. A lagoon filled with these pink flamingos is right in the middle of the park.
- Aquatica has many of your traditional theme park foods of hamburgers, pizza, and chicken tenders, but other delicious treats like carne asada fries, stir fry noodles, pork carnitas, jumbo shrimp, tater-tots, fruits, salads and so much more.
- The "Slippity-Dippity" is the area suitable for kids as it is only 48″ tall. It also features a waterfall area for more splashes.
- The most popular ride here is probably the HooRoo Run and Tassie?s twister, a high thrills body slide. Board a multi-person, clover-shaped raft to plunge down a 75-foot slide through thousands of gallons of swirling water!
- Along with the Caribbean Flamingos, you can also spot the freshwater turtles swimming and lounging on rocks. Some of these turtles were rescued and cared for by the San Diego Turtle & Tortoise Society.
