Anak Krakatau Nature Reserve is situated on an island named Anak Krakatau in the province of Lampung in Indonesia. The island was found from the caldera in December 1927 which itself emerged after an explosive volcanic eruption that destroyed the island of Krakatoa in 1883. The public visit to the island is allowed from Monday to Friday between 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. It remains closed on Saturday and Sunday.
