The Wurzburg Residence is a palace situated in the city of Wurzburg in Germany. Court Garden is situated outside the palace. The construction of the palace started in 1720 while it was completed with interiors in 1780. The Austrian/South German Baroque style ideas of Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt and Maximilian von Welsch alongside the French Style ideas of Robert de Cotte and Germain Boffrand were involved in the construction. It was made as a residence of Johann Philipp Franz von Schönborn.
