About Topkapi Palace
Topkapi Palace is an old palace located in Istanbul city of Turkey. It is now converted into a museum. The palace was constructed in the year 1465 as a residence of Ottoman sultans. It is spread in an area of 592,600 to 700,000 meters square. It was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 1985. It could be visited from Wednesday to Monday between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. It remains closed on Tuesday.
