About Royal Palace of Madrid
Royal Palace of Madrid is a palace located in the Madrid city of Spain. It was built in 1735 on the order of the King Felipe V of Spain. The palace was designed by the architect Filippo Juvarra. It is spread in an area of 135 thousand meter square. You can visit the castle by paying a ticket amount of Euro 13 but the public visit is not allowed during state function.

- The palace is now converted into a museum and is also used for ceremonial and public functions.
- It is the largest palace all over Europe having 3418 rooms. Also, the palace has 44 staircases, 240 balconies, and 870 windows.
- The palace is decorated with rich interiors like mahogany doors, Spanish marble, stucco, and artistic works of Giaquinto, Tiepolo, and Mengs. Also, there are watches, paintings, and other priceless arts.

- You will amaze to know the fact that the Grand Staircase is made of a single piece of San Agustin marble. It is beautifully decorated with two lions. There is a statue of Charles III in Roman toga and a statue of Charles IV on the first floor. There are four cartouches at the corners representing four elements air, fire, earth, and water.
