About Royal Palace of Amsterdam
The Royal Palace of Amsterdam is a historical palace in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The palace is located just opposite to the War Memorial and is Nieuwe Kerk. It was made using Classicism Architectural Style and covers an area of over 22 thousand square metres. Jacob van Campen was the architect who made this palace. The palace is currently occupied by King Willem-Alexander. The palace opens only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for public. On Friday the timings are from 12 noon to 5 evening while on Saturday and Sunday it opens at ten in morning and closes at five in the evening. Adults have to pay 10 Euro while children under the age of 18 are free to enter the palace. Students over 18 years of age can get a discount of one Euro in the ticket.
