About Purani Haveli Palace
Purani Haveli is a palace situated in Hyderabad city of Telangana state in India. It is an old mansion and was the official residence of the Nizam during their reign. The haveli was constructed in the 1880s on the order of Ali Khan Bahadur, Asaf Jah II for his beloved son Sikander Jah, Asaf Jah III. It was made with European architecture. The building got its name as Sikander Jah lived here for a small time and later on shifted to Chowmahalla Palace. The Haveli could be visited from Saturday to Thursday from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. The ticket price to enter the premises is INR 80 for an Adult while for children it is only INR 15.
