About Palace of Westminster
The palace of Westminster is a palace situated in the city of Westminster in Central London. It is situated on the bank of the River Thames. It is now used as Houses of Parliament and is a meeting place of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The palace was constructed in 1016 by architects
Charles Barry and Augustus Pugin using a Perpendicular Gothic Revival style. It opens at nine in the morning and closes at five in the evening from Monday to Friday.
