About Mysore Palace
The Mysore Palace is a famous palace located in the city of Mysore of Karnataka, India. It is an official residence of the Wadimar dynasty. The construction of the palace started in the year 1897 and was completed in 1912. It was designed by British architect Henry Irwin. It is now owned by Maharani Pramoda Devi Wadiyar. It is an important tourist place and receives over six million visitors annually. An entry fee of INR 70 per person and for the child between 10 to 18 have to INR 30 per person to enter the palace. It remains open for public visits from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm throughout the week.
