About Lazienki Palace
The Palace on the Isle is a seventeenth-century palace located in Warsaw city of Poland. The palace is located in Royal Bath Park which is the largest part of the city. Its construction was started in 1683 and was completed in 1689. It was made with the Neoclassical architecture style by architects Tylman Gamerski, and Domenico Merlini .it remains open for public visit from ten in the morning till six in the evening throughout the week.

  • German destroyed its interior at the time of the Second World War. They also tried to destruct the palace and also made holes in its structure. But the palace is safe until now as the plan was canceled.
  • Genius mind was used to construct the palace as an artificial island was created on the lake to construct this palace. Two Ionic bridges connect the palace with the surrounding Lazienki park.
  • There were six paintings like The Dream of Solomon, Solomon's sacrifice which were hanging on the walls of Solomon Room. These paintings were completely destroyed by Germans in 1944.
