About City Palace of Jaipur
The City Palace of Jaipur is the historical site in Rajasthan, India. The construction of the fort was started in 1727 and completed in 1732. The structure is a good example of combination of Rajput, Mughal and European architectural style. IT was built by Hindu Rajput ruler Jai Singh II. The palace complex sits on the heart of the Jaipur city.

- A part of the palace is the museum which has the finest collection of old arms in India and another part is the residence of the past rulers of Jaipur city.
- The palace has four small gates which represent the four seasons of the year. The gates names are lotus gate, peacock gate, green gate, and rose gate.

- There are many palaces in the complex including Govindji temple, Chandra Mahal, Mubarak mahal, and other buildings such as sabha Niwas, diwan-e-Khas, etc.

- The Mubarak mahal in the complex comprised of a museum of textiles and handicrafts, visitors got thrill chill to look at the royal wares and clothes. Photography in the museum is prohibited.
