Castles of Augustusburg and Falkenlust are historical buildings located in Bruhl, Germany. It was built in the 18th century and earned the designation of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. The site also includes the Falkenlust hunting lodge which was built in a period between 1729 to 1740. The palace was built for the dwelling of Archbishop-Elector of Cologne, Clemens August of Bavaria. The whole site covers an area of 89 hectares.
