Blenheim Palace is a palace situated in Oxfordshire, England. It was the official residence of the Dukes of Marlborough. It was one of the largest houses in England built between 1705 to 1722. Sir John Vanburgh designed the palace who was also accused of extravagance done in the palace due to improper design. It was named after the Battle of Blenheim in 1704. It was a reward for John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough who helped Queen Anne by supplying his military men to fight against French and Bavarians. It is open for public visits between 9:30 am to 6:00 pm throughout the week.
