About Vasa Museum
Situated on the stunning island of Djurgarden, Vasa Museum is a maritime museum. Found in 1990, the majestic museum has a whole history behind its formation. The exhibition attracts visitors for being the home to the only ship from the 17th century that was retrieved after it sank during its maiden voyage in 1628. The museum got its name after the ship Vasa warship. With over 1,495,760 (as of 2017), it is noted to be the most visited museum in Scandinavia.

Being situated at Galarvarvsvagen 14, Djurgarden, Stockholm, there are numerous ways to get to this museum:
Tram
One of the easiest ways to get to the exhibition hall is by tram. After reaching the Central station or Kungsträdgården, one will have to take tram number 7 to tram stop Nordiska Museet/Vasamuseet.
Bus
There are several buses one can take in order to reach the place. Bus number 67 to bus stop Nordiska Museet/Vasamuseet, it will take about 5 minutes tops to reach the stop. Bus 69 to bus stop Djurgårdsbron. Bus 76 to bus stop Djurgårdsbron.
Metro
If the visitor is taking the metro to the area, they have to take Red Line to station Karlaplan. From the station, a 10-minute walk or bus 67 to bus stop Nordiska Museet/Vasamuseet.
Ferry
Another option could be Ferry, people can take the ferry from Slussen all year round. In the summer season they can take a ferry from Nybroplan to reach the destination as well.
