About Tsarskoe Selo State Museum Reserve
Tsarskoe Selo is an old town located in St.Petersburg city of Russia. It is just 24 kilometers away from the center of the city in the town of Pushkin. The town was known by this name until 1918, it was called Detskoe Selo from 1918 to 1937 after which it got its current name, Pushkin. It contains the royal residence of the Russian imperial family. It is a part of the site of Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments which is designated as the World Heritage Site.
