Tate is a museum located in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 2000 with the efforts of Henry Tate. Maria Balshaw is appointed as CEO in June 2017. The museum traces its roots to the National Gallery of British Art which was established in 1897. The visitors are free to enter the museum but they have to pay for some special exhibitions. The museum remains open throughout the week from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
