Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra is one of the eminent museums located in the state of Assam. The museum is devoted to conserving the cultural objects of the Assam. The museum is divided into other sections as well which is the Children Park structured on the premises of the museum land. The museum is listed among the list of Top visited places of Guwahati city and also seen crowded with plenty of tourists.

The museum is situated at the popular Panjabari Road of Guwahati in Assam which makes really easy for the traveler to reach the museum by any means of transport.

By Train If one is traveling by train then he/she must drop off at the nearby rail stations which are Noonmati station, New Guwahati, and Narangi station which is located at a distance of 9-10 km and can be covered between 30-35 minutes and will make you reach the museum.
By Bus
One can drop off at the closest bus stands situated close to the museum and these stands are ASTC Bus Stand Khanapar, Namghar Path Bus Stand, Upper Assam Bus Stand, and Panjabari Bus Stand also Khanapara Inter-State Bus Stand and Kahnapara Flyover Bus Stand, and Bagharbari Bus Stand all these are the closest bus stand which is situated only at a distance of not more than 4kms and can be routed within 15-20 minutes.
By Air
If one is traveling by air then he/she must land at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport which is distant at 34km away from the museum and said to be the only closest to the museum and it takes 55 minutes to reach the museum by hiring a taxi or any public transport means.
