About Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial is a renowned museum placed in Ahmedabad, India. The museum was built as a tribute to great freedom fighter Sardar Patel. The museum welcomes ample visitors every year and has been listed among the record of top visiting places of Gujrat.
History
The building was started to construct in the year 1622, by Shah Jahan. The emperor took the decision to build this to provide employment to the poor people and was reconstructed after Moti Shahi Mahal. It was set up with various sections inside like the royal gardens, mansion, saloon, rooms and terraces, and much more.
The museum is operational to the public for 6 days of the week and remains shut down every Monday. The entry ticket to the museum costs Rupees 60 for children and Rupees 120 for an adult.

The museum is situated at Gandhi-Sadar Smruthi Chowk which is opposite the Circuit House in Shahibag and the location is easily accessible to the public with any means of transportation.
