Rewari Railway Heritage Museum is a renowned rail museum located in Rewari, India. The museum was set up in the year 1893. The museum is said to be the home to the only living locomotive shed in whole India. The museum is quite famous among rail lovers and travelers. It is the top-visited place in the city with tourists from around the world.
History
The only locomotive shed of India is located in this museum. The railway track was used to connect the ways from Delhi to Peshawar. The museum was then reconstructed with a locomotive which is displayed for the travelers. The museum was also renovated and constructed as a heritage museum and it was all done by Indian Railways in the year 2002.
The museum is operational to the public for six days of the week and remains closed on Monday. The opening timings are 09:00 AM -04:00 PM. The entry ticket for the museum is free of cost everyone can visit without paying any of the fares.

The museum is located in the railway colony of Rewari, Haryana. The place is quite easily accessible to the public without any such transportation issues.
