About Ranchi Science Center
Ranchi Science Centre is a well-known museum in Jharkhand, India. The museum is said to be the first-ever science center to be installed in the city in the year 2010 to show the growth and development of science and technology in the state. The museum is said to be an educational institute and is often seen crowded with science lovers, researchers, and other visitors as well.
The museum is operational to the public for all seven days of the week and the timings are 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM. The entry fee costs Rupees 10-20 for an adult and for children it costs only 5 Rupees.
How To Reach Ranchi Science Center
The museum is based at Tagore Hill Road in Morabadi, Ranchi and this place is quite easy to reach by any means of transportation.
By Bus
The buses stand/stop located near the museum are Khadgarha Bus Stand, Ranchi Kanta Toli Bus Stand, Ratu Road Bus Stand, Kusum Vihar Bus Stop, and Katatoly Bus Stand. All these are distant 5-7 km away and are routed in 20-22 minutes by hiring any cab/taxi or any public transport vehicle.
By Train
If one is traveling via train then he/she must get off at Ranchi Junction station or Argora railway station. Both of these are situated at an interval of 8-10 km away from the museum and can reach with the help of a cab/taxi or any public transport service in 20-25 minutes.
By Air
If one opts to travel by air then he/she must drop off at Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi or ATC, Ranchi Airport. Both of these are located at a distance of 13-15km away from the museum which can be covered within 30-35 minutes by renting a cab/taxi or any public transport.
