About Museum Seni Rupah Dan Keramik
The Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics is a popular museum situated at the famous Fatahillah Square of Jakarta, Indonesia. It was founded in August 1976 at an old building of the Court of Justice. It displays the traditional fine art and ceramics of the country. It could be visited between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. It remains closed on Monday.

You can easily reach the place using the Transjakarta bus of routes number 1, 9B, and 12 which leave at Kota bus station close to the Fatahillah square. Your destination is on the east side of the square. If you are going there by train, then the commuter rail line of Jakarta Kota-Bogor, Jakarta Kota-Cikarang, and Jakarta Kota- Tanjung is available which leave you at the Jakarta-Kota station. The museum is located within walking distance of this station.

- The museum has a collection of over 450 paintings and sketches alongside 5000 ceramics and sunken ship cargo objects.

- It can also be used for filming location, its room, garden, and plaza are also available for rent of 1 million Rupiah per day. Auditorium and Terrace can also be taken for rent for a temporary exhibition.
