Goa Chitra Museum is one of the renowned museums located in Goa. The museum is well-known for having 4000 artifacts that portray the lifestyle and tradition of the state. The museum was established by the popular Victor-Hugo Game. The place is counted among one of the fascinated places of Goa and has also been recorded among the list of most visited places of Goa and can be seen crowded with travelers.

The museum is located close to the popular school named Auxilium High School, and from this route, one can easily access the route through any means of transportation.

By Train
The rail stations situated near the museum are Suravali station, Majorda Junction and Madgaon Junction and these stations are distant at 5-7 km which will take not more than 10-15 minutes to reach the museum with the help of any taxi/cab or any public transportation.
By Bus
If one is traveling by Bus then he/she can drop off at the nearby bus stands which are Margao City Bus Stand, Avlakode Bus Stand, and Margao Domestic Bus Station also Edapally Bus Stop and Colva Bus Stands and all these bus stands and stops are distant at 2-4 km which can be routed in 5-9 minutes by taking a cab/taxi or any public transport service.

The only airport closest to the museum is the Goa International Airport which is 26 km away from the place and the distance can be covered in 45-50 minutes by renting a cab/taxi or any public transport service.
By Ferry
One can also travel by ferry and there are various ferry terminals located near the museum which are Raia Ferry Terminal, Shiroda Ferry Terminal, Durbhat Ferry terminal, Rassiam Ferry Terminal, and Adpai Ferry Terminal, Rachol Ferry and all these are distant at 11-22 km away from the museum and the distance can be covered in 30-50 minutes accordingly by cab/taxi or any public transport service.
