About Creswell Crags
Creswell Crags is an archaeological site located in England, United Kingdom. It is situated between the borders of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The site contains a number of caves which existed since the ice age. It is estimated to be occupied about 43,000 and 10,000 years ago. It is estimated that the site was used for dwelling in Bronze Age, Neolithic, and also by Romans and post-medieval times. It was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1986.
