About Casa Manila
Casa Manila is a museum located inside the popular historical walls of Intramuros in Manila Philippines. It displays facts related lifestyle of the area at the time of Spanish colonial rule in the Phillippines. It is a three-story building made in Filipino Colonial architectural style. The museum was founded on the order of Imelda Marcos in the 1980s. The museum is open for public visits between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. It remains closed on Monday.

How To Reach Casa Manila
The museum is easily accessible through public transport including buses, Jeep, and UV. You can also go there by Light Rail Transit line number 1. The nearest train stations to the museum are Central Terminal Lrt and Recto Lrt from where the destination is at 16 minutes and 30 minutes walking distance respectively. If you are using a bus then you can get off at Bonifacio Drive and the museum is just at five minute walking distance from this bus station. If your bus leaves you at Andres Soriano Jr Ave then you have to take a 7 or 9-minute walk to reach the destination. Railroad Drive and Juan Luna Monument are also at 8 or 9-minute walking distance. Taft Ave is also nearby the bus station to the Museum.

The top floor of the building has a dining room, living room, and kitchen, the first floor has bedrooms and an office library. The interior of the house still looks wonderful with which you can estimate that what the lifestyle was of the rulers of the time. The toilets of the building are situated on the ground floor. The museum is also popular for double-seated toilets. The outside area is an open area decorated with fountains and plants.
