If you are a first time visitor of Bangkok than this is our advice that don't trust local guides if they say to you that the palace is temporarily closed for Buddhist holiday celebrations or give you any other reasons. They are making their own money by telling lies to the tourists. You must be clear that the palace is almost never closed. At the time of ceremonies, they close a small section while other parts remain open.
At first, it seems that they are charging a huge amount to enter the palace but later on a person realizes that only one ticket can allow a person to enter not only on palace but also at other places like Wat Phra Kaew, Bang Pa-In Palace Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, and Sanam Chandra Palace in Nakhon Pathom,
As the city faces horrifying heat it is advised to visit the palace in early morning. The palace opens at 8:30 am so the visitors can arrive after that rather than visiting the palace at a temperature of forty-plus-degree. Also it is easy to visit as there is less crowd in the morning time.
