About World War II Memorial
World War II Memorial as the name suggests is a memorial to give tribute to those who gave their lives in the Second World War. It is founded in April 2004 in Washington D.C. It is situated in between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument at the National Mall. It is managed by the National Park Service. You can easily arrive at the place by taking a metro which stops at Smithsonian Metro Station. The place is just 13-minute walking distance from the Metro station. There is also a convenient bus service for the memorial.
