The Vietnam Veterans Memorial as the name suggests is a memorial to honor the soldiers who participated in the Vietnam War. The memorial is situated in Washington DC occupying an area of two actresses. It is made with black granite in which names of the U.S. army members who laid their lives in the Vietnam war are engraved. It is situated in the Constitution Gardens and is very close to the popular National Mall and Lincoln Memorial. It was established in 1982 and is visited by over 3.7 million visitors every year.
