About Museum Island
Museum Island is an island situated in Berlin city of Germany. The museum complex is situated in the northern part of Spree Island. The site covers an area of 8.6 hectares. The construction of the museum started in 1830 and it was completed a hundred years later in 1930. It was planned by five architects on the order of Prussian Kings. The site was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1999. It remains open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
