This historical castle, situated in Michigan, is a site of attraction. One, for its beautiful Queen-Anne style architecture and the history associated with it. Secondly, for its appeal and reputation for being haunted. After its restoration in 2011, the private-owned property is now open to the public.

- The Castle can be dated back to the year 1895. It was designed by C. A. Gombert who was from Wisconsin. The cost of restoration and construction can be estimated at up to $ 72,000.
- The Henderson Castle is named after, Frank Henderson. He was Kalamazoo"s famous and most successful businessman. In the year 1895 at the completion of the castle's construction, a housewarming party was held. Mr. Henderson however, did not live long in the residence. He died in 1899. His wife remained at the castle until she died in the year 1908.
- The castle has been used as a shooting location for three horror films in the past. One of these called "House-sitter", a sci-fi movie that made its debut over 25 years after its production.
- It is listed at the top of the top three best Inns in Michigan. It offers a blend of architectural, artistic, antique as well as modern amenities, with 10 rooms and a cottage and a sauna, steam room, and a rooftop hot tub!
- The Castle is considered a hotbed of paranormal activities. While it may not be apparent, people and staff have reported sighting apparitions dressed in the clothes of the old times. Some sense a "presence" lingers on the premises.
- Visitors have experienced a tapping on their shoulders and upon turning around, finding no one. Some say that Mary and Frank Henderson, the original owners of the estate still linger.
