About The Rock of Cashel
One of the most visited Heritage sites of Ireland, the Rock of Cashel was once the seat of the kings of Munster. The myth states that the plateau developed in Tipperary, Ireland when St. Patrick banished Satan from a cave. It originated in the Devil's bit, about 30 km away from Cashel. The site has an extraordinary assembly of Medieval constructions and Celtic art from the 12th and 13th centuries.
