Taman Fatahillah is a popular square in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is popular as a historical center of old Batavia. Before 1632, it was half the present size of the square. Many changes were done from time to time to decrease traffic and for the convenience of the residents. The latest restoration was done in 1970 by governor Ali Sadikin. You can visit the square between 5:00 am to 10:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. It remains closed on Monday.

Several public transport methods are available to reach the square. The nearest train station is Kota station from there the square is located within a walking distance. You can also take a ride on Korridor I busway if you are going there from Jalan Thamrin.
