About Qasr Al Hosn
It is a historical fort which was founded in the year 1761. It is popular as the oldest stone building all over the Abu Dhabi city. The fort is now converted into a museum. It is close to Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum St. and is under the control of the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation. The fort is partially open for public and can be visited between 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Most of the tourist prefers to visit it during evening timing to avoid scorching heat of sun. It requires about two hours to visit the whole fort. A ticket amount to 30 AED per person is required to enter the premises.

The place is adjacent to Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street so you can easily reach there after getting to this street. However, if you are going there by bus, then Al Ittihad Square Bus Stand is nearest to the location. After reaching at this bus stand, take any local means of transport to arrive at the fort.
