About Masakado grave
Maskado was a tenth-century samurai emperor. He was a provincial magnate and is known for his growth against the central government. He was the main cause of Masakado’s rebellion. Furthermore, he was killed in 940 AD by his cousin Taira no Sadamori, and Fujiwara no Hidesato at the Battle of Kojima. His grave is located on a hill rising out of Tokyo Bay. While the tomb of his head existed near Tokyo's Otemachi subway station close to exit C5. Many locals worshipped him as a demigod for centuries.
