About Zakir Hussain Rose Garden
Rose Garden is a beautiful garden in the capital city of Chandigarh. The garden covers an area of 30 acres. It was inaugurated in the year 1967 by former president Zakir Hussain. The park is owned and controlled by Chandigarh Administration. It remains open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm from Monday to Saturday while on Sunday, the opening timings are from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Though the park remains open throughout the year but the best time to visit it is in March at the time when all the roses blooms and makes the view magnificent. A ticket price of INR 50 per person is charged to access the garden.
