Bougainvillea Garden is also a popular tourist location located in Chandigarh. It was founded in the year 1976. The garden covers an area of about 20 acres, where you can see about 65 different types of bougainvillea shrubs. The beautiful archs covered with bright-colored bougainvillea flowers can attract attention of anyone. The garden is photogenic with pavilions and arcades designed with colorful flowers. The garden remains open all the seven days of the week from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. No fee is charged to access the premises.

The garden is located in Sector 2 in an accessible location close to Vigyan path and is convenient to reach. You can go there using any of the available means of transport:
Bus
