About Rajaji National Park
Rajaji National Park is a reserved area on Shivalik Hills covering about 820 square kilometers to protect wildlife. Rajaji National Park is a haven for wildlife lovers and nature enthusiasts. Spread over three districts – Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal, and Haridwar - this national park is known for its diverse flora and fauna. It was founded in 1983 and was named after a freedom fighter, C. Rajagopalachari. The national park is open for public visits in the morning from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the evening. The ticket price per person for Indian citizens is INR 150 while for foreign nationals it is INR 600 per person.

How To Reach Rajaji National Park
The park is accessible through different gates in the cities including Haridwar, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Saharanpur, and Kotdwar. It takes about an hour to reach the Mohand area from Saharanpur, as well as Dehradun to access the park. Several means of transport are available which will connect you to the location.

Air
The nearest airport to the location is Jolly Grant. From there, you can take a taxi to reach the desired destination.
Train
You can leave your train at Haridwar railway station or Motichur Railway Station (a small village close to Haridwar) to have access to the park.
