About St Michans Church
St. Michan's Church is a church situated in Dublin, Ireland. Its history traces to 1095 when it was founded as a Christian chapel. It served as a Catholic church until 1686 when it became a part of Church of Ireland. Its reconstruction was done under the guidance of William Robinson in the year 1686. The church is popular for its vaults containing several 'mummified' remains. It has various musical instruments in its interior including an organ which is said to be used by George Frideric Handel for performing the Messiah. You can easily arrive here by taking a bus route number 134 from Abbey Street.
