Aachen Cathedral is an old church situated in Aachen, Germany. The cathedral was consecrated in the year 805 and is one of the oldest churches all over Europe. It was founded on the order of Emperor Charlemagne who died nine years after the construction of the church and was buried there. The cathedral is open for public visits from seven in the morning till seven in the evening from April to December while from January to March, it closes at six in the evening, and the opening time remains the same.
