Violet Cemetery is the oldest graveyard in the city of Osceola in Arkansas (USA). It was built in 1831. The cemetery encompasses an area of approximately 2.5 acres. The city lay on a low, heavily wooded ridge on the bank of the Mississippi River. It is a square shape graveyard neighbored with trees. Approximately 70 percent of graves in the cemetery as 50 years old as of July 2021. The historic site is presently managed by Osceola city.
