It is the part of the US national cemetery system located in Sitka, Alaska (USA). It was established during 1868 ? 70 by the US army general Jefferson Davis. The burial grounds spread up to the area of 4.3 acres. As of 2021, there are approximately 1500 burials. It is managed by the US department of Veterans affairs. The official hours of the cemetery are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM on Monday through Friday.
