About Lothian Cemetery
Lothian Cemetery as the name suggests is a cemetery located in Lothian Road, Delhi. It is an old Christian cemetery established in 1808. The area comes under old Delhi. Now the place is preserved by Archaeological Survey of India. It is a home to the graves of European soldiers who died in the 1857 revolt, and also of the British women and children who died during British rule due to cholera epidemics.

- The place is reportedly haunted by the ghost of a British officer Sir Nicholas who committed suicide when he came to know that the Indian lady whom he loved is married to someone else. His ghost still cries with the name of that woman and walks in the cemetery.
