About County Home Cemetery
It is the historic burial site located in the Heritage Park in Piggott city, AR (USA). It was formed in 1912 and currently encompasses an area of 1.1 acres. Presently, the cemetery is a part of Heritage Park.

Some Lesser Known Facts About County Home Cemetery

  • The present cemetery and park are situated on the former site of the poorhouse of Clay County. Many homeless and widows lived there.
  • There are around 60 graves in which many of which are unmarked. A larger number of graves are of inhabitants of poorhouse who died there.
  • There is a monument and bench as a mark of the place.
