About Conway Cemetery Historic State Park

It is a historical burial site situated near Bradley city in Arkansas (USA). The cemetery encompasses an area of approximately 11.5 acres. The site is managed by the Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourists. It is open from 8 AM to 8 PM every day. The site s located near the Walnut hills southwest of the AR State.

It is the second smallest state park throughout the State.
There are no recreational and services for visitors available in the park.
The cemetery contains numerous important figures' burials and the most prominent burial was of James S. Conway along with his wife. He served as the first governor of AR State.
The land where the park situated now was a part of Conway's cotton plantation.
The formation of the park includes the home site and family burial ground of the Conway family which was a very important political family during the American civil war.
In November 1977, it is listed as the historical place in the NRHP.
There are some other nearby places to explore such as Sulphur River State Wildlife Management Area, etc.
