The Centerville Pioneer Cemetery is a historic cemetery of Fremont city in California (USA). The establishment of the cemetery was accredited to Rev. William Wallace Brier.
History
It was a California state cemetery in 1858-59 and was also placed in the CA register of historic resources. At the time of its establishment, the location was called Washington Township (Alameda County, CA). The township contains several villages which later become towns including Centerville. An initial burial in the Centerville Pioneer Cemetery was around 1855 when the cemetery was acquired by the Alameda Presbyterian Church. Many founding members of the area are buried in the cemetery.
