About Kinnitty Castle
Kinnitty Castle is a castle located in Offaly county of the Ireland. It is situated at the north of the Slieve Bloom Mountains and is easily accessible through R421 regional road. It was extended to gothic style in 1811 on the order of Lady Catherine Hutchinson. Though the place has its history before the destruction of first castle in 1209. Now it is a 4 star hotel and is available for organizing events such as marriages, and conferences. The castle was occupied by Bernard family until 1946 who also built a pyramid located near the castle.
