About Hachioji Castle
It is an abdicated palace built on a mountain in Tokyo, Japan. It was built in 1570 by a Japanese samurai named Hōjō Ujiteru. He built the castle to toughen the Hojo position across the area. In the present day, the site remains in ruins of the mountain in Hachiōji city. Although some construction works were done by the national government earlier in around the 1990s.
